Several doctors have still not got benefit of SAG due to below benchmark ACR. Do we have a legal remedy at this stage? If yes can DADWA help?

Dear Dr. Rawat and Dr. Vinod Kumar,
Please do not leave things on fate. File an RTI and get complete information about the status of your promotion and reasons as to why the your name is dropped from the list despite being upgraded to Very Good.
We hear that in one case it was due to some clerical mistake but no one in MOHFW applied their mind.
Please leave nothing to chance and make efforts to get remedy through representation and through legal means if required.

dear sir, we may presume it to be our victory, but the govt. has made us to dance at her tune resulting into unwarranted delay of almost 21+1/2 months and making no compensation for their administrative lapses.Since all the cases were deferred, the inter-se-seniority had to be restored.in other words we had been looser financially for 21+1/2 months. It could have been more, had they not been chased at each and every step.So where is the occasion to celebrate??

Dear member who are following this topic, let me inform you all that despite the delay the list has come finally for those CHS Officers who were stuck due to one or more ACR below bench mark. Our congratulations to all of them and we wish they get all their dues and seniority from Oct. 2008.
They should not be despondent and take back whatever is their due.

In the Rajya Sabha Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare Shri Ghulam Nabi Azad, has informed the houe about incentives granted to Doctors working in Govt. Hospitals like increase of superannuation of Teaching Specialists to 65 years; of non-teaching and Public Health Specialists of CHS to 62 years; time-bound DACP to SAG without linkage to vacancies; period of study leave enhanced to 3 years in last 3-4 years and he believes these are leading to better retention.
But if one sees none of them are special. Age for all teachers in Govt. colleges is 65 whether art or commerce. While increasing retirement age of non-teaching specialists medical officers with PG qualification left out even though they handle a lot of hospital work. They are discharge same duties as specialists but goverenment treats them in a step motherly fashion. DACP is no different from any other group A services. For doctors promotion get halted at SAG while in others they reach HAG through Non-functional upgradation. Also the promotions of doctors is in-situ without perks and privileges and their status lower then their counterparts in IAS. The 6th pay commission has not brought any special incentive to doctors. It is same as for all group A services. The study leaves is given in all the services and depends on duration of course. So what is special to tell Rajya Sabha? Becooming a doctor is a tedious process now and at least 10 yrs of hard labour is needed. But once they are in Govt. service, they are treaqted otherwise. Faulty policies of doctors in general are causing frustration and several leave for greener pastures. Is Honorable Minsiter aware that just few yrs back public hospitals used to be the leaders and role models and now private pro-profit hospitals lead due to faulty policies. This is high time Govt. and the society takes note and status of doctors in public service improves.
